Friday Flowers

I've had a very busy week, got over the nightmare with technology of last week and had a building, sorting tidying, throwing out and organizing type of week.

In an effort to stop the house being over run with all my photo props I've taken over the smallest bedroom as a props room. There is just about room for the Z bed if we need another extra bed and as it has a north facing window is good for taking photographs.......talk about squeezing a quart into a pint pot!

I'll show you the finished room next week when I've had a chance to take some photographs.

I'm unashamedly giving you more roses this week, pretty little pink spray roses teamed with zinc, and as you can see I'm still in love with my vintage cutlery.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, it's a bank holiday on Monday in England so we all have a long weekend to look forward to.....hope it's special.

Friday Flowers

Ever think that everything is going swimmingly and suddenly it isn't? That's what happened to me last week.

And it all started so well.

I decided that I would upgrade my camera, to a full frame all singing all dancing new Nikon D600. I part exchanged my old camera and lenses and brought my new baby home for a play. Several hundred pictures later I was ready to download them........I was.........my computer software wasn't, it corrupted every picture.
To cut a very long and frustrating story short I managed (with the help of a very long suffering and patient friend called Adam.......now referred to as The Guru) to sort it all out. But not before feeling that I could quite happily throw the new camera and computer across the room!

So now I have settled down, here is a tea light holder full of Feverfew flowers....taken with my new camera.

I hope you all have a lovely calm weekend, I'm still wading my way through the camera manual!

Friday Flowers

After a two week break I'm back with more roses. I visited a garden a couple of Sundays ago and they had bunches of garden roses for sale......I couldn't resist.
They earnt their keep, I took masses of photographs until they lost their petals.
Although fleeting, their blooms are beautiful, and the scent!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
