Not quite sure where I'm going to put them yet, some serious gardening needs to be done, but the man who sold them to me assured me they would be okay in their pots for up to 3 months, thank goodness for that!
I've been up at 4.00a.m. every day this week, to reach the show before it gets too bright and too hot to take photographs, after months of complaining about the cold and the rain, summer is here at last, and the weather is wonderful.
On Tuesday I even managed to pop into my favourite Antiques Fair on the way home from the show, and found a few treasures, but I wanted to show you this.
A delightful wooden weather house, it's condition can only be kindly described as distressed. But it's graphics and the little china man and woman are charming. I think it dates from the 1920s to 30s and it still seems to work because the gentleman in the dry archway is definitely thinking of venturing out.
I hope everyone has a fine and sunny weekend, and you don't need an umbrella.
