I am delighted to announce that the winner of the Beau Papier blog giveaway is Lin.

In the end, to be fair, I entered everyone who left a comment and everyone who is a follower.
Names were written on identical pieces of paper, folded and put in a hat (box). My husband, (with his eyes shut) picked the winner.

A Taste of Spring

Do you feel that this Winter is never ending?
All I want is a little sunshine and some clue that Spring is on its way.
I bought these flowers this morning to cheer me up..........so I thought I'd share them with you.
I found the vintage embroidered cloth at a charity (thrift) shop last year. The jug is new, but I love its shape......... mix things up is my motto.

Although my shop was created on February 23rd 2009 it sat there for nearly a year before I plucked up courage to open it in January 2010. My first sale was on 10th January 2010 and my 1000th on 10th January 2011 - exactly a year - how incredible is that!

I love shoes, no really I LOVE shoes, I have lots and lots!

I find it difficult to buy trousers that are long enough in the leg.

I don't drink, alcohol that is, I don't like the taste.....odd, but I'm cheap to take out !

I went to Art School and studied Graphics for 2 years then changed to Fashion.

My first job was working with a Couture House in Paris.

I can understand Spanish very well, and can speak it with a lot of arm waving and miming.

I would be quite happy to live on cake and chocolate......if only!
