Some might call it an obsession....I can't help it, it's a new love, all consuming and I can't resist..........vintage terracotta pots! Not big pots, small 2,3,4 or 5inch pots I like them best with limey water marks on their little clay bodies.
I don't mind their cracks and their imperfections, they only add to their charm.
Sometimes you find a makers fingerprint others like this one below have the impression of the knot in a piece of wood where they have been left to dry. Plants look happier in them, look at this sweet pansy.....what a happy velvet face!
I hope you all have a very happy weekend......me, I'm looking for more pots!

hi!!!...we also have this obsession..welcome to the club!! xx
Ohhhhh I just love the happy pansy in the pretty pot! Each little pot has it's own special character :-)
Me too! In fact I love pots and pansies - lovely combination!
That's a beautiful and rather unusual pansy. And I love terracotta pots too. My aged father had a lot of them (rather unloved around his garden) and when he died I collected them together to be brought home when his bungalow was cleared. But they were stolen! Can you believe it? Such a 'nice' neighbourhood too, (as he would have said). People, eh?
