Friday Flowers

Normal service has resumed this week!
I was so busy getting ready for a Miniatures show last weekend that I completely forgot about Friday Flowers!! Having missed the boat, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Flowers didn't have the same ring to it....so I left it until today.

As you can see I am still in love with vintage teacups and saucers, I've had this one with the Pansies for about a year and love its faded subtle colours, a perfect container for a Primrose.

Spring is nearly here, it's the first of February today, the midpoint between the shortest day and the Spring Equinox. I know we probably have some more horrible winter weather to come.....but I can dream!!

Have a lovely weekend

Exactly my thought this morning - the year has turned and the sun is shining! Daffodils and pulmonaria will soon be in flower in my garden, primroses have been blooming since Christmas - but, alas, why do snowdrops never do well for me?

I am going to have to cling to your beautiful images! We have the opposite of Spring here. Blizzard and now frigid cold. Brrrrrrr, thanks for reminding me of what will come--- lovely!
