This picture is one of my favourites that I've taken this summer. Having nice enough weather to photograph outside for days on end has been fantastic and really liberating, chasing the light around the garden and waiting for that perfect moment has actually made me slow down and realise how happy I am doing what I love.
So here are late summer flowers, herbs and seed pods in an old watering can, caught in late afternoon light.

I love this informal arrangement! The humble flowers (misguided gardeners call them weeds, I believe) are often the most beautiful, aren't they?
