So here it is, the size of my palm, very tactile with a pattern of holes on the top, glazed in blue and green which is almost iridescent in places. Thank you Michelle, I love it.
Having no little daffodils, I tried it with Fritillarias, I thought their wiry delicate stems looked lovely growing out of this little ceramic gem.
Next time I'm going to use shorter stemmed flowers in all the holes to give it an entirely different look.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I'm going on a photography course this Saturday.....very excited!!

What an original container, and I love the spare arrangement you have made with it - it is very elegant. I haven't see fritillaries like this before (only the spotted ones) What variety are they?
Hi Marianne, sorry I don't know the variety. I bought them as cut flowers and I must say I'm amazed at how long they have lasted.
My reference books aren't any help either. Perhaps someone else will know?
They are very distinctive, and the colour combination is quire regal - on a small scale! As you say, maybe someone will know...
I think it's Fritillaria Pinardii - have a look at:

Very pretty and unusual. I hope you enjoyed your photography course.
