Friday Flowers

Friday flowers this week are Astrantia and Feverfew picked from the garden and popped into a little vintage galvanised watering can. The chair it is sitting on is what I bought at the Salvo Fair last Saturday.

I've been looking for a chair like this for ages, but didn't want to pay the prices they were asking at antiques fairs. This little white chippy painted chair came all the way from Belgium so I could take it home.
The Salvo Fair was amazing, so many things to buy, to want even if you didn't need them..........actually that doesn't usually stop me but the thought of the long walk back to the car carrying something heavy, did. If you were looking for original features for restoring your period home it was like an Aladdin's cave.

This weekend I have a miniatures workshop in Kent on Sunday, then on Monday it is the start of Hampton Court Flower Show, I'm lucky enough to have a press pass for 3 days, if not so lucky with the 4.30am starts! Hopefully I'll share a taste of it next week.

Have a lovely weekend
Georgie

The flowers look beautiful in the little galvanised can and the chair is lovely. Have fun at Hampton Court Flower Show. I've never been but a lot of people say they prefer it to Chelsea. Look forward to seeing your photos.
