Friday Flowers

This week seems to have passed by in a bit of a blur, I don't feel that I've achieved that much, though I did tidy my workroom and had some clear surfaces for about half an hour.

There was one sweet point this week, a surprise package from my dear friend Jen in America. So beautifully wrapped that I didn't want to open it, I really wish I had taken a photograph so that you could see the vintage hanky, the tiny gold brooch, the blue ostrich feather and veiling, the blue velvet leaves and the wide black ribbon and the antique calling card. The sweetest souvenir from Niagra, that I filled with Forget-me-nots which are blooming all over my garden.

Suddenly a few warmer days and everything is bursting into life, I love this time of year.
